Harp School This is a picture of my great-grandmother, Arles Crain, with her 1918 class at the Harp School. I am told that this building still stands and is now called Whittaker's Chapel (not sure if I spelled that right). Please let me know if you receive this and if you are able to post it to the GenWeb site. If you or anyone has any information on the Harp School, I would love to hear about it. Arles's parents were Mattison Roswell and Bernie Jane Gilliland Crain. Her siblings were Lonis who married Iva Hampton, Avis who married Clyde Sneed, Pete who married Lucille ______, and Ines who married Connie Brown. They lived in the Campbell area until about 1931, then moved to a farm near Advance. Thanks Maria Moore |
