  • The Culture Club picture was taken in the early 1940's when the women of Malden were helping with the War effort. The only man in the picture is Dr. Homer Beall - who probably delivered half the babies in Malden including me.
    Others in the picture who I can identify are:

    Front row left to right
    Unknown; Mrs. Casey who was the Methodist pastor's wife; Susan Anderson Norrid, Nell Beall, Vivien Hogue Anderson, Mary VanCleve, Dr. Beall.

    I can't see the women in the back row well enough to identify them:
